It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary G. Sharkey of Brooklyn, New York, born in Bronx, New York, who passed away on March 7, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank L. Geary and Mary Geary (Bloomer); and her spouse Francis Sharkey. She is survived by: her daughters, Loretta Wilson and Catherine Sarubbi (John); and her grandchildren, Caitlin, Jamie Jude, Brittany, Breanna, Zach, Jacqueline, Jon Jon, Christian and Casey.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Marine Park Funeral Home, Inc. (3024 Quentin Rd, Brooklyn, NY 11234). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Columba R. C. Church (2245 Kimball St, Brooklyn, NY 11234). A burial will be held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Calverton National Cemetery (210 Princeton Blvd, Calverton, NY 11933).
