She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Gelling and Elizabeth Gelling (Andrews); her husband Gerard Orleman; her son Edward Orleman; her brothers, Robert Gelling (Renee), Edward Gelling (Barbara) and Daniel Gelling (Maureen); and her friend Rita Halbran.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Giannattasio (Edward), Gerard Orleman (Carol Ann), Christine Gordon (Robert), Nancy Higgins (James), Elizabeth Culkin (Peter), Jeanne Farrell (Peter), Caroline Gaine (Brian) and Pamela Fine (Brad); her grandchildren, Alex, Kevin (Rory), Gerard (Jessica), Andrew, Dylan (Madison), Connor (Elizabeth), Carolyn, Megan (Charles), Riley, Matthew, Gillian, Daniella, Christopher (Allison), Kyle, Brian, Jack, Kayla, Aidan, Lauren, Thomas, Kieran, Kathryn, Nicholas and Avery; her siblings, Jane O'Donnell (John), John Gelling (Mary) and Dennis Gelling; and her friend Ingrid Magnus.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Marine Park Funeral Home, Inc. (3024 Quentin Rd, Brooklyn, NY 11234). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Good Shepherd R. C. Church (1950 Batchelder St, Brooklyn, NY 11229). A burial was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Green-Wood Cemetery (500 25th St, Brooklyn, NY 11232).
