It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Malgorzata Sapkowska of Brooklyn, New York, born in Poland, New York, who passed away on April 9, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Malgorzata departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Malgorzata. Though Malgorzata may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Piotr Sadowski and Stanislawa Sadowski (Cwiklicz); her children, Ari Sapkowski and Aggie Ortolano (Vinny); and her grandchildren, Krystal, Nicolette, Vincent, Christian and Alexa.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Marine Park Funeral Home, Inc. (3024 Quentin Rd, Brooklyn, NY 11234). A prayer was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location.
