She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence McCrimmon and Willie Mae McCrimmon; her daughter Michelle McCrimmon-Belsches; and her brothers, Robert, Wade, James and Kenneth McCrimmon.
She is survived by: her children, Lamont Hughes (Rhonda) of Charlotte, NC, Taisha Hughes of Troy, NY, Nicole Clay of Brooklyn, NY, Theda Clay of Brooklyn, NY and Ife F. Jefferson of Lawrenceville, GA; her grandchildren, Lamar (Justin), Imani, Caleb, Jahlliyah, Maani, Yusef, Kahfila, Wadud, Hakeem, Sajid and Shakur; her sister Phostenia McCrimmon of Fairmont, NC; and her aunt Elsie Ray Brown of Chadbourn, NC.. She is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.
