He was predeceased by: his brothers, Tommy and Vin. He is survived by: his wife Maureen (Mary); his children, Thomas, Patrick, Dermot and John (Sheila); his grandchildren, Stella, Johnny, Roxanne and Adrianna; and his siblings, Mary Roche, Noel (Maureen) and Anthony (Maria). He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the McLaughlin & Sons Funeral Home (9620 3rd Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11209). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 9:45 AM at the St. Anselm Church (356 82nd St, Brooklyn, NY 11209).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions in John's memory made to the SMA Fathers, Tenafly NJ.
