He was predeceased by: his parents, Roland Jacobson and Evelyn Signe Jacobson (Johannesen). He is survived by: his wife Miriam "Kay" Jacobson of Alexandria Township, NJ; his children, John Jacobson, Jr. (Dana) of Ste. Geneviève, MO, Kevin Jacobson (Barbara "B. J.") of Alexandria Township, NJ, Laura Jaw (Timothy) of Lebanon Township, NJ and Brian Jacobson of Monroeton, PA; his grandchildren, Colin, Meadow, Sophia, Henry, Mabel, Hannah, Owen, Isaac and Alex; and his siblings, Judith Shotts (John), Evelyn Wald (Eloise Ingram) and Peter Jacobson (Priscilla). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and finally his beloved grand-dogs.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his memory may be made to the Hunterdon Land Trust, 111 Mine Street, Flemington, NJ 08822, in an effort to continue Hunterdon County Farmland Preservation.
