It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan DeFazio (Brooklyn, New York), who passed away on January 18, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Joseph DeFazio; her children, Linda DeFazio-Ahmed and Michael DeFazio; her daughter-in-law Roseann DeFazio; her grandchildren, Shaban Ahmed, Joseph Ahmed, Joey DeFazio and Becca DeFazio; and her great grandchildren, Justin Ahmed, Aubrey DeFazio, Oliver DeFazio and Rhian DeFazio.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM at the D'Arienzo Funeral Home (104 Skillman Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11211). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the All Soulds Crematory (72-02 Astoria Blvd, East Elmhurst, New York).
