She was predeceased by: her husband Carl Edwards; her parents, Ralston Panton and Lucille Panton; and her son Leighton Edwards. She is survived by: her children, Beverly Browne, Carlton Edwards and Christine Edwards; and her grandchildren, Melanie, Joel and Charlene. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren and cousins.
Memorial donations in memory of Ita can be made to the Stroke Association of Florida or the Mayo Clinic, Jacksonville, Florida.
