He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Aida Melendez; his children, Gety Melendez, Bruny Melendez, Cloty Melendez and Hilario Melendez, Jr.; his grandchildren, Veronica Jannetti, Nikki Velez, Miguel Rivera, Ricardo Rivera and Niko Velez; and his great grandchildren, Anthony and Asher.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 11th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the D'Arienzo Funeral Home (104 Skillman Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11211). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, September 12th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the All Saints R. C. Church (115 Throop Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11206).
