He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Carlton and Helen Carlton; and his sister Mary Ellen Fitzpatrick. He is survived by: his wife Carol; his children, Karen, Gina and Robert (Nicole); his grandchildren, Christopher, Elizabeth (Phil), Michael, Haley, Victoria and Kieran; his brothers, James (Mary) and John (Marguerite); his extended family, Rosemary and Mark Hurley; and also, Audrey, Dylan, Jacqueline and Rogan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
