It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eugene A. Galvin of Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on September 28, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Eugene may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Eugene touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James F. Galvin and Margaret Galvin (McKenna) of Brooklyn; his wife Phyllis; and his son James. He is survived by: his daughter Kathleen Syvertsen; his son-in-law Norm Syvertsen; and his grandchildren, Matthew and Taylor Syvertsen. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
