She was predeceased by: her parents, Pasquale Marotta and Adeline Marotta (Cherico); and her husband John E. Afflitto. She is survived by: her sons, John E. Afflitto, Jr. and Patrick Afflitto (Maryann); and her grandchildren, Patrick and Aviana.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 9th 2024 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Marine Park Funeral Home (3024 Quentin Rd, Brooklyn, NY 11234). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, October 9th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Edmund R. C. Church (2460 Ocean Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11229). A burial was held on Wednesday, October 9th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Calverton National Cemetery (210 Princeton Blvd, Calverton, NY 11933).
