With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carmela Galeotafiore (Brooklyn, New York), who passed away on November 18, 2024 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Carmela's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Carmela has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her daughter Maria Giammanco; her son-in-law Michael Giammanco; her grandchildren, Marisa Giammanco and Matthew Giammanco; and her siblings, John Galeotafiore, Carmine Galeotafiore and Caroline Kruszewski.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 10:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the Saint Francis R. C. Church (219 Conselyea St, Brooklyn, NY 11211). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Carmela's Home (383 Graham Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11211).
