Biagio Lacalmita Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Biagio Lacalmita of Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on January 16, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Biagio shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Biagio farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Stefano Lacalamita and Vincenza Di Cristo. He is survived by: his wife Maria; his children, Jeanine and Steven; his daughter-in-law Toniann; and his grandchildren, Santina and Steven Jr.. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, in-laws, and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Scarpaci Funeral Home (1401 86th St, Brooklyn, NY 11228). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Child Church (4747 Amboy Rd, Staten Island, NY 10312).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinsons Research in Biagio Lacalamita's memory.
