She is survived by: her husband James Stokes of Brooklyn, NY; her daughter Ruthina King Stokes of New York; her siblings, James Russell Pitt (Faye) of Bethel, NC, Girtie Mae Pitt of Williamston, NC and Joyce Wilkins of Bethel, NC; her sister-in-law Barbara Staley of New York; and her aunts, Minnie Pearl Little of Greenville, NC, Gertrude Goddard of Everetts, NC and Sara Muller of Brooklyn, NY. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
