He is survived by: his wife Christina Kakavas (Zacharias); his children, Eleni, Anthony (Glezakos), Anastasios and Arete; his grandchildren, Michael, Apostoli, Christina and Chrissa; and his brother Nikolaos. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McLaughlin & Sons Funeral Home (9620 3rd Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11209). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 9:00 AM at the St Constantine & Helen Cathedral (64 Schermerhorn St, Brooklyn, NY 11201).
