He was predeceased by: his wife Gloria; his parents, Alfred Shaw and Marie Shaw; his brother Joseph; and his daughter Susan.
He is survived by: his children, Jerry (Nita), Joseph (Kim) and Scott (Denise); his sister-in-law Bernice; his close friend Nancy; his brother-in-law Richard; his son-in-law Mark; his niece Michelle; his great-nephews, Matthew and Adam; and his great-niece Danielle. He is also survived by numerous other nieces, nephews and loving extended family members and friends.
