She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Nicholas Torres; her children, Maribel Haddock, Edwin Torres, Elizabeth Romero and Marisol Burks; her sons-in-law, Douglas Ruiz, Juan C. Romero and David Burks; her grandchildren, Audrey Hedgspeth, Edwin Haddock, Nicholas Haddock, Sohaiti Romero, Khrystal Burks, Latanya Torres Burks, David Burks, Jr., Denzel Burks and Tatyana Burks; and her siblings, Josephine Rosa, Jose Rosa and Evelyn Rosa.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the D'Arienzo Funeral Home (104 Skillman Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11211). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 7:30 PM at the same location.
