Dylan Hudson Obituary

Dylan B. Hudson, a longtime resident of Brookhaven Hamlet passed away peacefully on May 4 at the age of 58 after battling cancer. He was a beloved father, grandfather and brother.
Dylan was born in Bay Shore, New York to late parents Jerome and Elizabeth Hudson (Wolin). He was one of four children. Dylan was raised in Bayport, New York. He eventually went on to own and operate a successful water mitigation/fire restoration business with his wife called Always Restoration.
In his spare time, Dylan could be found tending to his 1967 Pontiac Firebird he called “Donna” in memory of his late wife, as well as his other “toys” such as his motorcycle and Corvette. He was a huge Hot Rod and classic car fan. Dylan enjoyed taking his Firebird to car shows and parades. He also loved Rock and Roll music—Led Zeppelin, The Beatles and John Lennon to name just a few of his favorites. Dylan also had a green thumb and took great pride in taking care of his lawn and garden. Above all, Dylan loved nothing more than to spend time with his only granddaughter, Brooklyn Donna.
Dylan was predeceased by both of his parents Jerome and Elizabeth Hudson and his beloved wife Donna Hudson. He is survived by two loving daughters; Casey Zendler and son-in-law Thomas and Nicole Sullivan and son-in-law James and his only cherished granddaughter; Brooklyn Donna Sullivan. He will be forever remembered by his three older brothers; Kevin, Sean and Marc along with his best friend whom he considered to be his brother, Steven Pfeifer. Dylan will be remembered for his kind and generous spirit, his love for his family, and quirky sense of humor.
Visiting hours for Dylan Hudson will take place on Sunday, May 7th from 2 to 6 pm at the Robertaccio Funeral Home, Inc. in Patchogue. A religious service will be held at 5 pm. Closing prayers will be offered at the funeral home the following morning at 10:30 am. Interment will take place immediately following at Oaklawn Cemetery in Brookhaven, New York
