He is survived by: his wife Mary Teresa Cunney; his children, Peter, Paul Churches, Mary Curry (Edward) of Crestwood, NY, Tim McGovern (Mary) of Scotch Plains, NJ, Bobby McGovern (Danielle) of Brewster, NY, Margaret Gannon (Shawn) of Anchorage, AK and Colleen Lawless (John) of Orleans, MA.; his grandchildren, Edward, Deirdre, Owen Curry, Shannon, Brigid, Madeline, Caraid, Eamonn McGovern, Thomas, Michael, Kayleigh McGovern, Grace, Aiden Gannon, Taigh and Liam Lawless; his great grandchildren, Thomas and Marie McGovern; and his siblings, Tadhg and Kathleen.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Sts. Peter & Paul Church.
