Sharlyn Helms wrote a sympathy message

“I am so sorry for your family’s loss. Sharlyn was a good friend of my mom and dad. They met while living in Des Moines, Iowa. During the Korean Conflict they reconnected in California. I am named after your mom. I was born in California and Sharlyn was at my parent’s house often. Sharlyn and John flew to Minneapolis to attend my mom’s funeral. I always enjoyed the times I meet her, she was a fun person to visit with. Once again I am so sorry for your loss. Sharlyn Helms Roseville, MN”
