It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Obert Trygve Werdal of Bronxville, New York, born in Yonkers, New York, who passed away on February 11, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Werdal and Gunvor Knibestol Werdal; his wife Audrey Ramsay Werdal; his son James Albert Werdal; and his siblings, Albert Werdal, Arvid Werdal, Rudolf Werdal, George Werdal and Gloria Grimes.
He is survived by: his children, David Werdal (Wanda) of Winterville and Barbara Tomlinson (Eric) of Gastonia; his grandchildren, James Michael Werdal, Megan Tomlinson Lively (Justin), Kevin Tomlinson (Jessica), Wendy McRoy (Gary) and John Werdal; and his great grandchildren, Alice Werdal, Lyric Werdal, Lily Tomlinson, William Tomlinson and Benjamin Lively.
