He was predeceased by: his parents, Johann Gartner and Gisela Gartner (Schneider); and his wife Dolores E. Gartner (Burckardt). He is survived by: his sons, Erich (Theresa) and Mark (Dainelle); and his brother Manfred.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, September 5th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Francis Xavier Church (1703 Lurting Ave, Bronx, NY 10461). Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 11th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Joseph A. Lucchese Funeral Home (726 Morris Park Ave, Bronx, NY 10462).
