He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Brogan and Catherine Brogan of Roscommon; and his siblings, Rosemary A. Brown and Joseph Martin Brogan II. He is survived by: his children, Kathleen, Thomas (Rosalina), Anne Durkin (Patrick), Frank and Joseph (Roberta); his grandchildren, Sean and Mary Kate Durkin; his children, Pierce, Quinn and Brent Brogan; his great grandchild Owen Patrick Durkin; and his significant other Mary.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Schuyler Hill Funeral Home (3535 E Tremont Ave, Bronx, NY 10465). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Benedict's Church (2969 Otis Ave, Bronx, NY 10465). A burial was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at the St. Raymond's Cemetery (2600 Lafayette Ave, Bronx, NY 10465).
