She was predeceased by: her husband Karl Vetter; her parents, Maria Kircher and Joseph Fries; and her siblings, George Fries, Theodore Fries and Loretta Fries.

She is survived by: her children, Kristen Vetter (Jim), Erika Vetter and Karl Vetter; and her grandsons, Owen and Aidan. She is also survived by friends and animals.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Little Sisters of the Poor Jeanne Jugan Residence.
