She was predeceased by: her parents, Ida Maiello and Ferdinando Maiello; and her grandmother GiGi. She is survived by: her former husband James Gonfiantini; her children, Angelo (Jeanette), Denise (Glen) and Fred (Lisa); her grandchildren, Michele, Michael, Freddie, Kristen, Julia, Robert and Ryan; her great grandchildren, Layla, Keira and Logan; her husband Michael Jesselli (Mikie); her brothers, Tony and Eddie; and her sisters-in-law, Rosemary and Aida.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Balsamo Funeral Home (3188 Westchester Ave, Bronx, NY 10461). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 9:30 AM at 1634 Mahan Avenue, BRONX, NY 10461-5298.
In Lieu of flowers, Rose's family requests memorial contributions to be made in her honor to either; Diabetes Research, Education, Advocacy/ADA @ DIABETES.ORG, or, National Kidney Foundation @ Kidney.org.
