He is survived by: his children, Margaret A. Murphy (Peggy) and Robert E. Murphy, Jr.; and his siblings, Finbarr J. Murphy, Margaret Farrell and Eileen Breen. He is also survived by extended family and even larger circle of friends.
In lieu of flowers his children ask that you donate to Iona College, New Rochelle, NY; Sisters of St. Dominic of Blauvelt, NY; Cardinal Hayes High School, Bronx, NY, who educated him; or Calvary Hospital, Bronx, NY, who took such good care of Bob in his last days and where he worked as a volunteer for many years.
