Richard A Faiello Obituary
Richard A. Faiello, 83, passed away on October 11, 2023. The family is accepting visitors at Williams Funeral Home in The Bronx on Wednesday, October 18, from 3-6pm. Funeral services will take place the following day, Thursday, October 19, at 11am at Gates of Heaven Chapel in Hawthorne, NY.
Richard was born in Port Jervis and grew up in The Bronx, NY. He eventually retired to Little River, South Carolina. He was the son of the late Ida and Albert Faiello and was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Louise Faiello, and his sister Loretta Faiello. Richard was a veteran
of the U.S. Navy as well as one of the founders of BP Elevator.
Richard could be described by many as ‘one of a kind’ and was known to be young at heart despite his age. He enjoyed a good joke almost as much as he enjoyed good food and eventually learned to ‘take it’ almost as well as he could ‘dish it’. He loved traveling with his
family and being a part of all the chaos that came with it (as well as causing much of the chaos himself). Most of all, in recent years, he loved spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren, who knew him as ‘Pop Pop’.
Richard will be lovingly remembered by his daughters, Jeanne Krausman and Nancy Arnold; his son in laws, David Arnold and David Krausman; his five grandchildren, Andrew Krausman, Lindsey Macalalag, David Arnold, Samantha Arnold, and Jaclyn Krausman; and two great grandchildren, Madison Krausman and Emilia Macalalag.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made out to St. Jude Children’s Hospital
