With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rafael Vega (Bronx, New York), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 9, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Rafael shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Rafael farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carpio Vega and Petronila Lopez-Vega; and his wife Carmen Acevedo-Vega. He is survived by: his daughters, Candida Vega, Miriam Vega Lisboa (Luis) and Lilian Vega Guglielmo (Michael); and his grandchildren, Christopher, Cristina and Gianna. He is also survived by His children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sister, and numerous nieces and nephews.
