He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret LaPatina and Anthony DeGennaro. He is survived by: his wife Francine DeGennaro; his sons, Philip (Melanie), Joel (Sarah), Anthony (Tara) and Michael (Janine); and his grandchildren, Bethany, Joshua and Mia.

In lieu of flowers the family asks guests to donate to St. Jude's children's hospital.
