In the vast expanse of eternity, Monsignor Robert shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Monsignor Robert farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Valentine McCabe and Lillian McCabe (Cleary); and his siblings, Thomas and John. He is survived by: his brother Paul; his nephews, Keith and Mark; his niece Laura; his great-nephew Ethan; and his great-niece Amalia.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John Vianney Clergy Residence Chapel (5655 Arlington Ave, Bronx, NY 10471). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
