She was predeceased by: her parents, Irish Whalen and Jack Whalen (Nora O'Sullivan); her husband Babe; her sons, Billy and Brendan; her children-in-law, John and Ruthie; her granddaughter Deirdre; her siblings, John, Frances and Neil; and her siblings-in-law, Gladys and Tony.
She is survived by: her children, Noreen (Vivolo), Joanne (Langlois), Mary Ellen and Johnny; her son-in-law Kurt; and her sister-in-law Kathleen. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in Mary Sullivan's name to Vincents Table , a joint effort by the Sisters of Charity and the College of Mount Saint Vincent to address food insecurity.
