It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laura Cristo (Bronx, New York), who passed away on December 5, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Agostino Cristo and Lucia Cristo (Aprea); and her sister-in-law Clara. She is survived by: her children, Anthony Avellino (Elena), Ema Gualano (Elio), John B. Avellino, Jr. (Elizabeth) and Marco Avellino (Sonia); her grandchild Lia Bateman (Brad); her children, Rebecca Avellino, Julie Algier (Evan), Stefan, Michaela Gualano, Sabrina, Francesca Avellino, Natalie, Mia and Sky; her great grandchildren, Milany, Scarlett, Noa, Leonardo and Aden; and her sisters, Maria Russo (late Brother) and Livia Marsella (Ed).
In lieu of flowers, contributions are requested to the Alzheimer's Drug Discovery Foundation.
