Jungwoo Ahn Koo Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jungwoo Ahn Koo (Bronx, New York), who passed away on March 20, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Minhong and Sunbee Ahn. She is survived by: her husband Jay Jaeel Koo; her siblings, Dr. Changwoo (Linda Ahn), Sangwoo (Alison Ahn), Taewoo (Heesook Ahn) and Shunwoo Ahn; her children, Dr. Harry Koo, John Koo and Patty Koo Bassett; her son-in-law David Bassett; and her grandchildren, Irene, Daniel, Christopher and Lauren. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Christ Church (5040 Henry Hudson Parkway East, Bronx, NY 10471).
