In the sacred silence of farewell, John is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. He is survived by: his wife Jean; his sons, John, Jr. and Edward; and his sisters, Mary Ann Gonzalez, Eileen Dixson and Patricia Hand.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Hodder Farenga Funeral Home (899 McLean Ave, Yonkers, NY 10704). A Mass was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Paul the Apostle Church (602 McLean Ave, Yonkers, NY 10705). A burial was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (10 W Stevens Ave, Hawthorne, NY 10532).
