She was predeceased by: her husband Eugene Kearney; and her parents, Emma McLaughlin and John McLaughlin. She is survived by: her children, Catherine Brady (late Phil) of Harriman, NY, Jean DePace (Stephen) of Carolina Shores, NC, Mary Cooney (Edward) of Point Pleasant, NJ, William Young (Patricia) of Mattituck, NY, Joseph Young (Anne Marie) of Carmel, NY and Barbara Young of Rochester, NY.. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and 3 stepsons.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Joan's name to the Skeletal Dysplasia Program of the Nemours/Alfred I. DuPont Hospital for Children and mailed to The Nemours Fund for Children's Health, Shands House, 1600 Rockland Rd., Wilmington, DE 19803.
