With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Irene V. Schiaffo (Bronx, New York), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 9, 2024 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Irene may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Veronica Houston and Charles Kentner; her brothers, Richard Kentner and William Simpson; her son Anthony; and her fiancé John Riordan.
