In the vast expanse of eternity, Hernando shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Hernando farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Maritza A. Garay; his daughters, Maritza Garay, Rosela Garay and Darleny Garay; his grandchildren, Desiree Garay, Samantha Ramsey, Julian Rodriguez, Victoria Rodriguez, Belize Vargas Garay and Ariel Sanchez; and his son Ismael "Izzy" Garay.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Schuyler Hill Funeral Home (3535 E Tremont Ave, Bronx, NY 10465). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at the same location.
