He was predeceased by: his daughter Amanda. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy; his children, Gilbert III, Doreen and Christopher; his grandchildren, Gilbert IV, Olivia, Dorian Lee, Cameron and Hunter; and his brothers, David and Danny. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Hudson Funeral Home (6110 Riverdale Ave, Bronx, NY 10471).
