He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Stam and Catherine Stam; his siblings, Peggy, Marion and Honey; his wife Jeanette; his children, Joseph and Catherine; his children-in-law, Pat and John Schmatz; his grandchildren, Michael (Lindsey), Brian (Vanessa), Alexa Lamarca and Joseph Lamarca (Ashely); his great grandchildren, Ryder, Jack, Noah, Hudson and Joseph III; his brother John; and his children, Joey and Cathy. He was also cherished by his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In Lieu of Flowers the family asks for donations to the Throggs Neck Benevolent Society who were so good to his family in a time of great need. In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer a donation in the memory of George to the Throgs Neck Benevolent Society.
