She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Regina Davis (Christopher), Warren Burgess III (Sharonda), Jennifer Burgess, Monica Pierre-Louis (Djiemes) and Melissa Burgess; her grandchildren, Andrew Reed (Sierra), Christopher Davis II, Ryan Davis, Solomon Burgess, Micah Burgess, Ariana Ayers, Eva Pierre-Louis and Arielle Pierre-Louis; her sister Louise Mitchell; her sisters-in-law, Leola Mitchell and Rosa Gibbs; her nieces and nephews, Paulette Beaufort (Ben), Barbara Marshall (Michael), Pamela Mitchell, Marilyn Varner (Melvin), Sybil Mitchell, Richard Mitchell, Frank Mitchell, Angela Johnson (Carl), Carla Mitchell, Darlene Lozano (Robert), Carleton Mitchell, Roberta Lockwood and Michelle Bethel; and her siblings, Alex Kinloch, David Brown, James Gibbs, Richard Mitchell, Cyrus Henry Mitchell, Jessie Mae Bridges, Ernestine White and Estelle Gibbs. She was also cherished by great nieces, great nephews, other relatives and friends.
