It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eleanor P. Mason in Bronx, New York, born in Queens, New York, who passed away on January 10, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Francis Mason; her brothers, Gerard and Thomas McCann; her parents, William McCann and Bridget McCann; and her nephew Rory McCann.
She is survived by: her sons, Dylan (Mu-En Steeg) of Fremont, CA and Kevin (Ellen Mason) of Bronx, NY; her grandchildren, Ethan, Carolyn and Nathaniel Steeg; her nieces, Brigid McCann and Margaret (Marc MacDonnell); her nephew Patrick (Regina McCann); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Ryan, Ailish MacDonnell, Riley Ferguson, Patrick and Thomas McCann.
In lieu of flowers, mass cards to the family and contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, a cause close to Eleanor's heart.
