She was predeceased by: her parents, Nellie O'Donovan (Carey) and Daniel O'Donovan; her husband Patrick "Paddy" Smith; her daughter Geraldine Grant; her sister Mary McGuinness; her brother-in-law John McGuinness; her siblings, John O'Donovan and Pauline O'Donovan; and her sister-in-law Eileen O'Donovan.
She is survived by: her children, Christine Dolan (Dennis), Patrick Smith (Jeanette) and Claire Pell (Jason); her son-in-law Peter Grant; her brother Gerald O'Donovan; her grandchildren, Daniel, Timothy, Jean, Kate, Andrew, Kyle, Michael, Logan, Matthew and Nolan; and her great grandchildren, Layla, Benjamin and Nathaniel. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
