He was predeceased by: his wife Mary O'Sullivan; and his sister Mary (Walter Doherty). He is survived by: his sons, Michael, Robert and Ted; his brother Robert Cleary; his sister-in-law Jeanette (Sullivan) of Vienna, Virginia; his daughters-in-law, Wendy Walker and Christine Vael; and his grandchildren, Thomas, Simon, Emma and Dillon. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
