He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parent Garden Grill; his wife Helen Karasakalides; his daughter Despina Karasakalides; his grandchildren, Paraskevi and Eleni; his son Constantine Karasakalides (Louise); his grandsons, Christos, Peter and Ioannis; his daughter Argiro Kavalieratos (Gerasimos); his grandchildren, Thomas, Chris and Angelique; his brother Nick Karras (Elise); and his nieces and nephews, Nicole and Ellie.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Balsamo Funeral Home (3188 Westchester Ave, Bronx, NY 10461). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 10:15 AM at the Zoodohos Peghe Greek Orthodox Church (3573 Bruckner Blvd, Bronx, NY 10461).
