He is survived by: his siblings, Toñe, Nilda, Bienvenida, Barabarita, Benjamin and Heriberto; his son Angel; his daughter-in-law Georgina; his granddaughters, Georgina, Angela and Cristina; and his siblings, Nidi, Reyin and Paco. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Angel's longtime oncologist, Dr. Daniel Petrylak, so that he may continue his groundbreaking research.
