He was predeceased by: his parents, Eduardo Chávez and Eumelia Chávez (Castaman). He is survived by: his wife Barbara Chávez (Pesce); his children, Joan Daunis (John) of Thomaston, CT, Matthew Chávez (Joan) of Mountain Lakes, NJ, Aldo E. Chávez, Jr. (Stacey) of Kinsale, VA and Lucio Chávez (Linda) of Pembroke, MA; his grandchildren, John, Justin, Liam, Daniel, Nicholas, Aldo III, Sophia, Cate and Lucas; and his sister Clelia Chávez Lima. He is also survived by one of ten siblings and he had numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in Aldo's memory to: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital/Tribute Program.
