With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Victor V. Derefinko of Brockport, New York, born in Buffalo, New York, who passed away on December 1, 2023 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Derefinko and Olga Kiebala Derefinko; his former wife Mary Ann Nowak Derefinko; his brother Eugene Derefinko; and his son-in-law Mark McGohon.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanne Pierce Derefinko; his children, Donna Derefinko, Karen Derefinko (Matthew Isaacs), Lida Ward (Tim) and Alex Ryan (Amy); his grandchildren, Shea McGohon, Henrieta Isaacs, Charlotte, Caroline, Margaret Ward, Kat and Quincey Ryan; his sisters, Sonia Derefinko Handt (Fred) and Jenny Derefinko Abbott; his siblings-in-law, Paul Nowak (Pamela), Joseph Pierce, Lida Pierce Small (Wayne) and Willa Pierce Falck (Sandy); his niece Nancy Handt Whalen (Robert); his nephew Eric Handt (Jennifer); and also, Nelson, Helene Kibler, Bill and Pat Leonard.
