It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard J. Fenton of Brockport, New York, who passed away on January 25, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Fenton and Julia Fenton; and his brother William. He is survived by: his wife Joan; his siblings, Steven, Thomas and Katherine; his son Mark (Lisa); his grandchildren, Maxwell and Skye; his son Robert (Suzette); and his grandchildren, Carson (Marti) and Parker. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations are encouraged in honor and support of Richard's commitment to accessible higher education for all, and may be made to the Fenton Scholarship endowment at SUNY Brockport.
