He was predeceased by: his sister Margaret. He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, John, RuthAnn Henry (David) and Robert (Carolina); his grandchildren, Ashley, Brian, Nicholas, Mason, Mitchell and Paige; and his sister Catherine Maira. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
